The Radiodiagnostic & Theranostic incubator is an initiative to develop a dedicated facility for academic groups, start-ups, and companies to develop and scale radioactive syntheses and labeling under GMP for regulatory approval and clinical use. The incubator supports the full development for diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and medical nuclear devices. It will contain hot-labs, specialized preclinical and clinical infrastructure, imaging facilities, and offer support services, multidisciplinary collaboration, contract research, and knowledge sharing. The collaboration of as many (academic) hospitals, technical companies, and (spin-off) companies in nuclear medicine as possible is vital for this initiative to succees. Our goal is to jointly establish the incubator and use it together going forward. Ultimately, it should strengthen the economy of the Netherlands.
