Given the clear need for knowledge on radiobiologic aspects and mechanisms concerning TRT, KWF will launch a thematic call for proposals. Scope of the projects is to understand the biological effects of radionuclides and the underlying cellular, molecular and immunologic mechanisms induced by TRT. The aim of the projects will be to use this mechanistic knowledge to make well-informed choices in the development and use of TRT (for example patient selection). Launch of the call is expected to be in the fall of 2026.
