The Nuclear Medicine Education Program (NMEP) is a community-driven initiative focused on sharing and structuring knowledge and expertise within the rapidly evolving field of nuclear medicine. NMEP recently conducted a national stakeholder survey (gap analysis) and is now organizing its first online and on-site training activities, including a MOOC and a Summer School on Dosimetry & Radiobiology. NMEP aims to implement a Lifelong Learning strategy covering the entire spectrum from radionuclide production to patient care. Achieving this goal requires close collaboration with the entire stakeholder community (academia, industry, hospitals, government, etc.). In addition, the platform provides an overview of available courses and educational materials within the field of nuclear medicine.
