The MOOC Radionuclide Production has been designed by TU Delft’s experts from the Department of Radiation, Science and Technology at the TU Delft | Reactor Institute. The course is intended for early-career professionals in the nuclear field, whether in industry, research, academia, government or healthcare. The course is free and open for all participants, so people can become familiar with radionuclide production in an accessible manner. Participants gain a thorough knowledge of the production of medical and industrial radioisotopes. Key topics include: – The basics of radiation and radioactivity – Production facilities and generators – Factors influencing radionuclide production – Radionuclide separation and quality control.
