Lead4Life
Lead4Life is a €5 million public–private program partnership funded by Health~Holland to enable GMP-grade lead-212–based radiopharmaceuticals for cancer treatment. The program focuses on ensuring the availability of pharmaceutical-grade lead-212 and on developing enabling technologies required for its safe and effective use in (pre)clinical research and, ultimately, in patient care. Because production, technology development and clinical application are highly interdependent, Lead4Life takes a programmatic and collaborative approach. Lead4Life is a collaboration between KWF, NRG PALLAS, FAST and Oncode Institute. Oncode Institute will provide valorisation support to funded projects. Project proposals can be submitted via KWF within the Lead4Life call for proposals this year. NRG PALLAS will lead the projects focused on the lead-212 production process development and will be able to participate in the enabling technology projects by ensuring lead-212 supply.
