This initiative focuses on the structural integration of early Health Technology Assessment (early HTA) in the development of new TRT innovations. Led by researchers from Radboudumc, it is grounded in the conviction that R&D guided by early and life‑cycle HTA results in sustainable, societally responsible and higher‑value patient care. A shared vision underpins the work: societal impact and the sustainability of care should be considered from the very start and inform downstream decision‑making. The initiative also promotes the role of non‑commercial investments, such as research grants, in supporting HTA‑guided and socially responsible R&D.
